Call for round-table proposals

We are now calling for sessions dedicated to round tables, workshops or group discussion to be scheduled within the Mediterranean Seagrass Workshop ’09 program. Each session will be about 2 hours long, and the general objective is to have open discussions and brain storming about relevant issues on seagrass research and management in the Mediterranean Sea or recent methodological advances.

We encourage everyone to submit a one-page proposal, including title, a short motivation and description of the session and the final expected outcome (e.g. list of recommendations, or a white paper, etc…). The proponent will have the role of chairing the session, introducing the topic and reporting the results of the round table to the general assembly. According to the number of proposals received some sessions can be running in parallel.

We strongly encourage making sure that you have secured funding to attend the MSW’09, prior to submitting a round-table proposal.
